The first exercise in Illustration class (Art 52A) was to create an entire picture, using ink, with a random piece of torn newspaper image. The image was an eye (his normal, no-blood eye).

2nd inking take-home project... Dealing with geometric shapes, This is the only thing I thought of.
This is my second try. First one had a block out of perspective.

*cracks fingers and wake housemates up* Had to take off my glasses so that I can view everything closer and zoomed. What took so long? Determining what shades of greys and keeping it constant...
Illust class, gouache tarot card practice.

For illust midterm: in-class (3 hrs) and 3 words: trophy. Skulls, exquisite. This is what I came up with. Media: gouache.

Just another gouache exercise: this time it has to be 'name' and using shades from a color your choose.

I chose blue.
