The following client icon piece was created on illustrator using a range of shapes and tools to create the face while following the references. Different features and colours have been chosen to create a more accurate replication of my facial profile. Creating the hair for the icon was difficult and may represent inaccurately however, by combining both the line tool and its curvature feature as well as the shape tool to create vectors I was able to create similarities to the reference picture. 

Firstly, the product was sketched on paper as a rough reference sketch. It was then used as reference while creating the icon on illustrator. The progress of the icon is evidently shown as it starts with a simple face base as it slowly develops with new layers to create the rest of the face. As the reference approached a more simplistic structure, I added tiny features that I believed fit to define my own appearance.
