Created from the combination of selected shots of different cities' streets, this ongoing project builds on the physical experience of a common ground to reflect on the essence of the urban, the fragmentation of metropolitan communities and the digital non-place.

The creative process foregrounds the smartphone as the pre-eminent tool of contemporary urban living. Both the initial photographs —hundreds for each individual city— and the subsequent manipulation and post-production are developed using only resources available on mobile digital platforms.

Every image is constructed through the digital manipulation of a selection from hundreds of photographs of each individual city. Cities to date include Yerevan, New York, Barcelona, London, Taipei, Berlin and Bangkok.

The final 50x50cm archival quality prints are produced with pigment inks on Hahnemüle paper
