Our challenge was to redesign one of Mallorca’s most iconic drinks, adding premium cues and archive elements to reconnect the brand to the family owners whilst modernising the design.
Client: Distribucions Túnel — Destil·leries Antonio Nadal
Antonio Nadal Distillery, has been distilling spirits since 1898. Palo Túnel is a popular dark, almost black, aperitivo of botanical-medicinal origins. It is made with caramelised sugar and extracts from gentian root and china-bark.
Our solution is an ornamental label that celebrates the origins of the brand whilst maintaining its heritage. Nineteenth-century graphics are balanced with a contemporary colour palette to produce an iconic, modern bottle for an extraordinary aperitivo.
