This is a letterpress print composition, created from layered letterforms and multiple passes per print. Limited to three (3) colors, I was inspired to use neutral tones with hints of metallic ink on the bottom-most layers (silver/gold). Hand rolling the ink for each pass, all final prints ended up being 6x6".

I designed my letterform pattern by selecting wood type blocks, running them through the press on a single, black layer, then scanning the forms into Photoshop; from there, each form was individually selected and comped into three layers and colored. In order to lay out the type, I printed off each individual layer and did forty (40) passes in the press for each color.
