(digital illustration and animation)
This project brings those into perspective who might sometimes appear to be rather hidden in many societies. By using the aesthetics of different cultural patterns, these illustrations attempt to transmit a series of situations in which for instance refugees find themselves. The intention of the work is that it can be read from two perspectives - the view from far away displays a nice pattern, but when seen from a closer view, the scene is revealed to the receiver. This, as a way of raising an awareness of a reality of people that seem to often be hidden among us.
