This is an illustration I designed for a spring issue of Pom Pom Quarterly, a magazine about knitting.
This issue is devoted to botany, and the article I was making this illustration for was describing many aspects of natural and synthetic fibre production, and humans' relationship with plants and traditionally made and modern fabrics.
