Genesis
The "My Road" session was created a few years ago on my old equipment (Canon 60D / Sigma 18-35mm, Sigma 10mm Fisheye) and was very spontaneous. It was one of those cold mornings in November, depressive and humid, when there is only one thing in mind - to stay in bed. Seeing hudge fog outside I grabbed the equipment, woke up (5 am) my beloved girlfriend and ran out with her outside (literally).
The idea behind the session refers to the atmosphere of the Stalker universe, which I am a big fan. Close to the place I live is an industrial area that perfectly suits to the theme of photo session.The monument that appears in the background is the hallmark of Rzeszów, Poland. Figures placed on it remind me of Prometheus statue, which for a long time stood in Pripyat city, where story of Stalker is set on (which of course has nothing common with the reall story of the monument).
