Every year, Indianapolis residents look forward to 
Indy Food Weeks.
Restaurants all over the city participate by offering special discounts, with a portion of their proceeds going to charity.
In late 2018, NUVO gave me the task of creating a system of logos for the 2019 Food Weeks. The logos needed to include a strong unifying element, the NUVO logo, an image, and a consistent location for the date.
My solution was to house an illustration representing each week within a black frame (black being one of NUVO’s brand colors).
I also used NUVO brand fonts; Gotham Narrow for the name of the week and Tungsten for the date.
The ads needed to look good in print as well.

I also designed the Taco Week Passport,
which lists every participating restaurant...
...as well as every house ad, like this one promoting the
Taco Week T-shirts (which I also designed).
I also suggested that we print posters for restaurants to display.
These were a big hit!
I created a consistent visual system for the ads, keeping certain design elements and using different colors for each food week:
Originally we planned on calling them NUVO Food Weeks.
That plan was changed, but not before we ran a full-page ad featuring my original logo designs...
