Intent of the course was to interact, observe and understand the properties and behavior of a range of diverse materials like Wood, Metals, Clay and M-seal. Subsequently focused on Fabrics, Leather and various textile dyeing techniques such as tie and dye. Finally, the course focused on combining materials using unconventional ways to create composites.
COMPOSITES
A composite material made using inner walls of lemon rind, dry kokum fruit and sabudana paste. This resulted in a hard, stiff and brittle material.
