Key | Typographical Poster
This project that began in late February was based around the idea of designing a typographical poster that would help make a visual reference to a standard household key, by the way of using the letters of the word itself as the basis of the device, with the incorporation of a visual style that combines minimalism and simplicity together.

As you will see, the final outcome consists of the letter “K” acting as the lock pattern, the “E” becoming the finger grip, and the “Y” as an accessory tag attached to the provided ring.

To push the overall depth of the design that little bit further, I decided to include lighting gradients alongside a grain texture in order to help push away from a look that I felt would appear far too flat, and way too polished for my own personal liking.

The display mockup for the final outcome consists of the final outcome being placed against a light eroded background, as well as being hung up by the use of wire and paper clips for a more simple less-compact look, in order to help emphasize the actual size of the poster itself without the feeling of making it appear compact or restrict (much like how it would appear inside of a frame).

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
