This is a small exploration of Copper as a material for jewelry using a different technique
Material: 3mm Copper sheet
Tools: Hammer, Angle Grinder, Dapping/Doming Punch Tools, Leather.
Process: A small piece of sheet was cut and hammered to make it thin and strong.
An outline of a leaf was drawn and the sheet was stamped using dapping/doming
punch tools and hammer to mimic the texture of leaf.
The sheet is then cut into the shape of the leaf and stamped again for refinement.
Finally a hole is drilled on the piece and connected to a leather strap to wear it around the neck.
The leather strap can be replaced with thick and fancy cotton threads used for jewelry.
