    Sony Ericsson is a joint venture established in 2001 by the Japanese consumer electronics company Sony Corporation and the Swedish telecommunications company Ericsson to make mobile phones. The stated reason for this venture is to combine Sony's consumer electronics expertise with Ericsson's technological leadership in the communications sector. The space boasts a unique reception concept that fosters playfulness, entertainment and interactivity as a part of it's customer experience area which were flanked by the more neutral executive conference rooms in the 'public' zones while buffering the experience areas from the employee work areas. The simplicity of simple spaces was important to more 'heads-down' areas, while areas for collective gathering and work were dominated by color on the vertical surfaces to accentuate the brand imagery and language established by Sony Ericsson.
