“I came, I Saw, I conquered”
famous phrase by the legend Julius Ceaser.
I’ve had these words in my head for a long time and below is my illustrated interpretation.
I'm in the field of web design for quite a few years. It’s really fun. I have seen it evolved over the years and it’s really exciting that you get to learn something new everyday. But you know, nothing beats the smell of fresh ink on the paper and the feeling of being able to touch your creation is priceless.

Print medium has always fascinated me and having seen amazing work by creatives on Behance lately has further developed my urge to try something on paper as well.

Although, I have no proper print design training or experience. I thought of creating some poster/t-shirt designs just for fun. (Everyone is doing it, I know) but if it makes you feel good then who cares. ;)

Then there are hundred of playful fonts in my inventory that I’ve always wanted to play with but never got a chance in web designs. I’ve found some use of them finally. Moreover, I can do experiments that I normally can’t do due to the constraints in the web design.

Veni, Vedi, Vici is the first one of the series. So, here you go.

it all starts with doodles
Initially, I was going to use some stock icons. But then I thought why not draw myself. It’s more fun that way and I could create freely. So, I grabbed the pencil and drew icons from scratch matching the style of the typeface.
Font used here is Wellfleet by Sorkin Type Co.
