Introducing ProxiCoin!

A location based notification system that allows you to:
- Leave friends a message (beacon), UPS, Notes, etc.
- Program via smart phone
- reusable coins or disposable/temporary
- options: open messages or limited access messages.

User Scenarios:

A) John is expecting a package from UPS and doesn't want to post his phone number and unit number on the door. So, he grabs his proxicoin and puts his details in. The UPS driver gets notified when in range, that John's number/unit.

B) Chris and Rebecca's wedding day and guests are arriving. As they pass the entrance, guests are notified with further instructions like parking, start time reminders, and last minute info about the wedding.

C) Amazon is sponsoring a scavenger hunt in SF. As players reach new areas with clues, they receive a new clue to the next location. Proxicoin is in open message mode and can let anyone know the next move.

D) Paige is downtown shopping. She's setup her phone to filter for deals on purses. As Paige walks by Express, her phone notifies her about a great deal on purses they're having. So, she decides to walk in to check them out.

ProxiCoin is intended to reduce the number of steps needed to get to the relevant information you need, based on your location.

Scenario: I just arrived at the bus stop and I want to check on when the next bus will arrive. With ProxiCoin, it knows what routes I use most often and when I'm in range.

Here is how ProxiCoin would make better use of marketing income by targeting the individuals that are looking and available to make purchases. It would also allow for FLASH sales by instantly notifying consumers of a short, unannounced sale of goods.
