There is a book design and illustrations for Ukrainian edition of poems written by French poet  Jacques Prevert. The title of the book derives from so-called verse 'Nezdara' ('Le Cancre' in French or 'The Dunce' in English). Jacques Prevert has been a pacifist and non-conformist. He also left the school at the age of 15. 

So, the idea of the edition was to show the feeling of spontaneity and truthfullness. I also wanted illustrations not to impose anything to the reader and made them looking much more like notes in the margins than pictures. 
This project is my student work for graphic design department of Lviv Academy of Arts.

This year 'The Dunce' has become a winner in category of student desing and got a title The Very Best Of in competition Ukrainian Design: The Very Best Of 2019.
