TRIPOLI MUSIC CONSERVATORY
The project is highly influenced by two major aspects:
- The proximity to Rachid Karami Int’ fair, with it being the only cultural/historical landmark in the region. Its iconic design approach representing Tripoli’s modernist golden age acts as an architectural/social constraint.
- The project’s main function “music conservatory” which indulges a sense of subjective approach of design
The project serves as a continuation of the fair’s iconic identity with a redefining of Niemeyer’s minimalist design. The flying volume approach is a representation of fluidity in music & how, through theory, it always maintains an even flow.
