    Wafflu is a Japanese typeface for my final project of TypeMedia 2011/12 at KABK, the Hague,which contains the scripts Hiragana, Katakana, Kanji and Latin. The idea of giving the typeface a crisp, crunchy character was inspired by waffles, a popular sweet in The Netherlands and Belgium. It is an experiment into finding a method to keep the same flavor throughout all four scripts consistent and balanced. Intended applications are display sizes, packaging design and multilingual usage. Read Less
