Tampachaniotika is a series of works that draw inspiration from the musical area of the Rebetika as they were expressed in the urban centers of Crete and incorporated into the musical tradition of the island. Criteria for their choice was the theme of verses expressing pain and loss, trying to find the dynamics that would transfer the roughness and immediacy of the songs onto the engraved surface of the wood.
