As a designer for Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) Materials Production, I get to work on awesome creative projects that provide resources to teachers, support district staff, and improve students’ learning experiences. 

In 2018, I had the opportunity to provide art direction for the 2018 Showcase of Schools on October 27. The Showcase of Schools is an annual event hosted by JCPS as a one-stop place for parents to meet and engage with various school representatives and to see what the district has to offer. The event was a success with 13,000 people in attendance.

I worked with our district marketing director to establish the brand style guide, ensuring consistency across all applications. This facilitated the creation of print, social media, and web marketing materials. I designed the poster, flyer, postcard, magnets, social media and website ads, retractable banners, and large-format banners. All of the work was produced by our in-house printing and large-format departments.

I received an honorable mention in the Environmental Design/Wayfinding category in the 2019 AIGA Louisville Design Awards.
