Personal Logo Development
The project began in search of the shape, based on an ancient symbol, that represents my Japanese family. The definitive icon represents not only a sakura (cherry blosson) but also brings the stamp idea.
The creative process was very handmade. Starting from the symbol, I did many signature tests and chose two that had the best visual effect. Having this image, I screen printed many times in different mediums and in different ways until I found the final result. Turning into vector, I could choose the best type combination that would mantain the legibility and still have personality.
