Stack was a one-week design sprint exploring a portable, backpack-sized DJ controller for the mobile, modern DJ. Set up your DJ booth however you want and the floor is yours.
This project began with exploring different design methods and render inspirations that I could apply to my own design process to achieve a similar output.
I identified the sketch aesthetic of Cecilie Manz's intentional scribbles, the quick rough mockups of Cecilie Manz, and the neutral rendering with harsh shadow of Bengt Brummer.
Utilizing the tube form factor, Stack can easily fit into any bag or bottle pocket, making it ultra portable for DJ's on the go. Each tube is about the height of a 24oz shaker bottle!
Stack has everything you need to get a party started: a DJ controller with full EQ system, jogwheels, crossfader, and levels faders in one tube, and a full 2.1 sound system in the other.
All pucks have top and bottom magnetic charging pins, allowing you to charge the entire "stack" at once.
