Fan Art | 2016-2019
As an avid fan of popular culture, an old tactic of mine would be to turn to fan art when I'm not able to feel inspired enough to draw (artblock often hits out of nowhere). Another tactic would be to attempt pose studies to try and learn to draw anatomy better, but these often also turn into fan art when I detail them out. This has led me to accumulate enough of these pieces to make a whole separate project.
A majority of these pieces are for the animated show, Voltron: Legendary Defender, produced by Dreamworks. I've often described it to friends as 'Power Rangers meets Legend of Korra, set in a Star Wars universe'.
The rest of my fan art is from books, movies, songs, TV shows, TED talks, podcasts, anime and all the other media I spend most of my time consuming.
