Tiempos Privados
Serie de micro-documentales que retratan la vida de diversos personajes que dedican gran parte de su tiempo al
trabajo de cuidados (trabajo necesario para satisfacer las necesidades vitales y cotidianas como cocinar, lavar, limpiar, administrar el hogar, y atender física y emocionalmente a niñas, niños y personas mayores, enfermas o con discapacidad, entre otros), ya sea remunerado o no, es un pilar fundamental para el bienestar de todas las personas.
En México y muchos otros países, son la mayoría de las mujeres jóvenes y adultas quienes cargan con ese trabajo, y lo hacen de manera gratuita, precaria e invisible. Esto genera desigualdad de opciones de vida entre mujeres y hombres. La sociedad ha dictado que las mujeres y las niñas sean las principales encargadas de las tareas domésticas y del cuidado de otras personas. Pero, ¿realmente debe ser así?

Series of micro-documentaries that show us the lives of diverse characters who spend a great part of their time on caring work (work necessary to meet the vital and daily needs of cooking, washing, cleaning, managing the home, and physically and emotionally cares for girls , children and the elderly, sick or disabled, among others), whether paid or not, is a fundamental pillar for the well-being of all people. In Mexico and many other countries, it is the majority of young and adult women who carry the job, and do it for free, precarious and invisible. This generates inequality of life options between women and men. Society has dictated that women and girls are the main ones in charge of domestic tasks and the care of other people. But, should it really be like this?
