Natascha Mair; Vienna State Opera Ballet.

Natascha Mair was born in Vienna. After her education at the Ballettschule der Wiener Staatsoper, where she studied under Gabriele Haslinger, Karen Henry, Galina Skuratova und Prof. Evelyn Téri. 2012 she was employed by the Wiener Staatsballett and in the same year she was awarded with the Prize of the Jury at the International Contest of Ballet Schools in Bejing and received the 1. Prize at the Premio Roma Danza.
2014 she was announced demi soloist at the Wiener Staatsballetts and gained the Förderpreis of the Ballettclub Wiener Staatsoper & Volksoper. Her most important roles at the Wiener Staatsballett so far comprise Clara and Pastorale in Rudolf Nurejews „Der Nussknacker“, Kronprinzessin Stephanie in Kenneth MacMillans „Mayerling“, Odaliske in Manuel Legris' "Le Corsaire", Kitris Freundin, Amor and Brautjungfer in Rudolf Nurejews „Don Quixote“, Gefährtin des Prinzen and Edelfräulein in Rudolf Nurejews „Schwanensee“, die verzauberte Prinzessin in Peter Wrights „Dornröschen", Olga in John Crankos "Onegin", Faschingstanz in his „Romeo und Julia“, Solo-Schatten in Marius Petipas „Die Bajadere“, Freundin in Frederick Ashtons "La Fille mal gardée" and roles in „Paquita“. Further she danced in ballets of George Balanchine ("Allegro Brillante", "Valse Fantaisie"), Serge Lifar ("Suite en blanc"), Harald Lander ("Études"), Pierre Lacotte ("La Sylphide"), William Forsythe ("The Second Detail"), John Neumeier ("Vaslaw") and David Dawson ("A Million Kisses to my Skin").
