For the AIGA Pittsburg 2019 Context contest, students were tasked with creating a two color solution for Piazza Talarico.  

Piazza Talarico is an existing family-owned and operated restaurant in Pittsburgh, so the existing logo was used in addition to the new design of their menu, pizza box, and take out coffee cup. 

To best embrace the family's values, I developed an illustrative design for their packaging, focusing on fresh ingredients — lemons and herbs — that the family always uses in their food. I chose to use this particular style of illustrations to push the feeling of the homemade touch embraced by Piazza Talarico.

This project was awarded a Gold by AIGA Pittsburgh.
