POSTER DESIGN
This is my two submissions for the poster competition Posterheroes 7. The theme was shaping the future. Of my two submissions, as seen below, the 'Embrace Our Future' poster, was shortlisted with 40 other, amongst the 2908 international submissions, and as so, featured in the cataloque as seen. Embrace
The creation of artificial intelligence and human-like robots are a certainty. Some people have expressed concerns or fear, over how the artificial intelligence and robots will feel towards human race, their creators. We’ve all seen the sci-fi movies, and we all know what the threats are. Or at least, the threats that the Hollywood creatives could think of. In this discussion, we seem to lose clear sight. In a perfect future society humans, AI’s and robots, live, learn and grow from and with each other. The fact is that these technologies will be created one day, and we, as humans must embrace this.
Home Sweet Home
A growing number of prominent people and organizations from all over the world, from Elon Musk to Stephen Hawking, believe that the future of the human civilization, lies not on planet earth, but rather on a foreign planet. The idea is to first establish human colonies in outer space, and later let the human race leave planet earth for good. The first people to take these ideas into action, have already begun testing, researching, and even recruiting, for such a colony to be build on Mars. This is their first meeting with their new homeplanet.
