My goal with this project is to create positive and stylish design of canvas bags. The collection is designed with cute animal prints and cultural symbols of Berlin, that are familiar to everyone in love with this city. One who never tried a bite of sour Bretzel with a Berlin city view from Fernsehturm never experienced the real taste of it:)
Foxes and racoons are well-known for their creative and smart nature, as for the scouting for food, in particular. Did you know that you could easily meet a wild fox in the centre of Berlin?
From the design perspective, I had to take care of some particular cases, imposed by offset printing modern standards, including minimalistic color palette and limited height of lines.
The project was created exclusively for the limited fashion collection of the brand
Silky Foxy Fabrics.
I have drawn the design of the bags in Illustrator Draw on iPad in my Berlin studio. Later I have processed it in Illustrator and created 3D models in Dimension.
For bags’ background colors I have selected tender pastel colors: blue, green and pink. I have added bright yellow to have a contrast.
What can be more friendly than a fox and raccoon?
The bags are perfect to carry sweets.
Silky Foxy Fabrics is a small fashion brand based in Berlin. It produces limited editions of clothes and accessories for women with unique designs.
