GLOW IN THE DARK
This project is about how weaved textiles can reflect the light in a room where the light is limited. The room is part of the Schou and Epa building in northwestern Copenhagen and is designed in a brutalist style. The textiles consist of monofilament and metal yarns. The double weave creates a diffuse expression and the patterns of the weaves become clearer or less clear depending on the angle. These textiles will reflect the light out of the darkness.
