A new poster for the Yugoslav Drama Theatre in Belgrade, a production of Nathan the Wise (original German title: Nathan der Weise), a play by Gotthold Ephraim Lessing written in 1779.

Nathan the Wise is a play set in Jerusalem during the Third Crusade, it describes how the wise Jewish merchant Nathan, the enlightened sultan Saladin, and the leader of the Templars, bridge their gaps between Judaism, Islam and Christianity. The major themes of the play are friendship, tolerance, relativism of God, and a rejection of miracles and a need for communication.

I decided for this season to use images of profiles.
