Cantiague Electric website

A handcrafted marketing site for a regional solar power contractor
October 2011

Subcontracting for Fusion Reactions, I designed and built this small-scale site for the largest solar power contractor on Long Island. The site features a clean design, takes advantage of CSS and webfonts for sharp rendering on a wide variety of devices, and is powered by the ExpressionEngine content management system.
The Cantiague Electric landing page. With extensive use of CSS and webfonts, most page elements remain sharp even at Hi-DPI (Retina) resolutions.
Pure CSS dropdown menus. CSS box-shadows enhance the visibility, while Unicode characters provide the dropdown arrows, eliminating the need for an image.
FAQs are browseable via this jQuery-powered accordion. The FAQs themselves are a custom post type in the site's ExpressionEngine back-end.
Testimonials are also a custom post. Structured data plays an important role throughout the site, minimizing client error.
