The song Seven Nation Army by the White Stripes is about gossip tearing the protagonist down. At the same time the vocabulary sounds very miliatry wherefore this illustrated book depicts the lyrics as the story of a soldier in captivity.
The illustrations were done with pencil and the booklet by bound and cut by hand.
