Motion Graphics In Film Task
This task requires us to research on opening or closing title sequence and then analyze and we will have to discuss briefly how it relates to the movie by including narrative of the title sequence, the elements and background music used, the transitions and effects, etc.
For this task, I selected The Boss Baby (2017), so here’s my brief analysis,
During the opening scenes of The Boss Baby, after Tim’s father asks him how he would like to have a new baby brother, Tim doesn’t bother much, and told him he is enough for the family and then drifts to sleep while watching his marble machine. He has a wild imagination, dreaming up elaborate imaginary rescue scenarios involving pirates and rocket ships. with his loving parents to himself he doesn't realize his mother is pregnant. He then dreams of his new brother as the marble. He wakes in the next scene and thinking about the where do baby comes from.
(This is the transition used in opening sequence when Tim starts dreaming)
The background used in this scene is gradient of blue and white that defines sky. The scene shows how the babies are being processed before they are sent to their families. They are being processed through a conveyor belt. One small baby in particular goes through the motions, getting a fresh diaper and a pacifier. The tickle machine determines where babies are placed. If they laugh, they are sent to families. If they don't react, they are sent to management. The baby boy is pushed into management and is given his own suit, watch, and briefcase before being assigned to his cubicle.

The film was recorded by Hans Zimmer, along with Steve Mazzaro and different artists. They added sounds of babies laughing and giggling as well in the music background.
