The Geography of Human Rights

The visualization shows the Human Rights Protection index (from 1950 to 2014) and the Human Rights Violations index (in 2014) for 50 countries. The selected countries are the top 25 ones and the bottom 25 ones for human rights violation. The countries are sorted along the horizontal axis by GDP per capita and along the vertical axis by population.
