Emily Goldhammer is an extremely talented photographer I've had the pleasure of art directing for several projects including Lift Studio and Biergarten on Lamar. She was leaving her agency to start her own photography business and had me design her branding and website.
Her mark represents an overhead view of a stacked lens on a camera as well as creates the letter E for her first name. The mark was also designed to be transitional, when flipped upside down it creates the letter G for her last name, Goldhammer was a business she runs separately with her husband, Ethan Goldhammer. The brand focuses on mainly black and white to not draw attention from her photography work. Several patterns were created with the mark and implemented in her branding. A black on black raised spot gloss was used on her business card with the pattern to give it more of an edge.
