Bench > 2 chairs
In January of 2018 three friends and I founded "Malteada La Vida" an independent exhibition space for contemporary art.
Before being able to start making exhibitions, we had to restore the place, which was abandoned and with a lot of waste of objects and materials.
For the inauguration we made an event called “Un primer Saludo” (A first greeting), where we brought together people from the art world and friends to introduce them our project.
And for this introduction I created a bench that would function as a symbolic object of friendship and collaboration: I took the remains of two chairs to turn them into a three-person bench: An extra space that arises as a result of the union.
