My work is inspired from Time Dilation Theory of Einstein, where I study the slowing down of time. I wish my viewer to experience an environment where time is running slow and they are able to see all the details that our human eye is otherwise unable to capture. I take inspiration from mundane activities from our surroundings and depict them in my work.
My work is an amalgamation of art, design and technology. I experiment in conventional, unconventional and e-textiles in my work e.g. acrylic layering, PVC sheets, embroideries, laser cutting, glasswork, straws, interactive projection etc on textile surfaces. I have also developed modular textiles i.e. where small laser cut modules are interlocked to create a surface.
I explore the concept of experiential spaces in my work. I invite the viewer to walk around my work and experience it fully.
