I got the idea to make this album art while listening to "Diamonds are from Sierra Leone" by Kanye West. The quote "Diamonds are forever" stuck with me for a while so I decided to make album art based on the quote. Since the song I was listening to was by Kanye, I decided that the final piece should be influenced by one of his albums. I choose the 808s & heartbreak album art because it was the easiest to recreate.

As you can see they are very similar. You have the drop shadow from the image in the middle, the side bar of colors. Other than that, I think I made the piece my own and I like it. I can so though that the diamond could have some reduced opacity.
