Thurinn the berserk started as a side character in another story taking place in the world of Alwoerin. The straightforward barbarian troll pretty much captured the show and this is the first full-lenght comic album about her adventures in the middle of the Silarian empire's civil war. The story has been told before: An ancient evil stirring once again, a wise wizard who assembles a ragtag team of heroes to protect a chosen child and there is also a magic sword somewhere. But when it turns out that the chosen child is a spoiled idiot, the wizard has his own twisted agenda and everyone is ready to stab their friends in the back it turns out that everything hangs on the broad shoulders of a brutal troll maiden. Only one thing is certain: There is going to be a lot of killing.
