"I Believe"

Synopsis:  Three separate stories are told, connected only by a quote commonly attributed to Audrey Hepburn. Two young girls living in the moment, a newlywed lesbian couple, and a woman battling illness, tell the story of positivity, believing in miracles, and how to appreciate the small moments in life.

Musical Highligts: Aly is a fresh new face in the film industry and a childhood friend. When she approached me with this film concept I was very eager to help. She needed assistance finding an affordable film composer to work on the music with us. I met the fantastic Jeff Nations and we signed him to work on the project. 

Administration: I drafted and negotiated Jeff's composer agreement. I also coordinated the execution of that agreement. 

Music Supervision: Jeff, Aly, and myself worked together to design the perfect musical concept for her short film. The challenge was to develop a soundtrack that had elements of sound design in it, that were musical instruments. We also wanted to ensure that the sound design didn't come off inappropriate or cheesy in the serious scenes. Since the film is short, the music needed to be one, continuous piece that could encompass all of the different emotions that the audience was supposed to be feeling in that short length of time. In the end, Aly was extremely pleased with the outcome and it was well received at film festivals.
