Jazz Days in Novi Sad 1979–1988

Dani džeza u Novom Sadu 1979​​​​​​​1988. (Jazz Days in Novi Sad 19791988) was an exhibition held in may 2018. in Studio M, as part of the Night of Museums event.  

During its 10 years, the Jazz Days in Novi Sad festival has hosted a number of most important contemporary jazz musicians, both coming from Yugoslavia (the Belgrade, Zagreb and Novi Sad Big Bands, Gut–Marković sextet, B.P. Convention, A. Arnol kvartet, T. Janša kvartet, Bora Roković, Lala Kovačev...) and abroad (Chet Baker, Ray Brown, Bud Shank, Art Ensemble of Chicago, Oregon, Vocal Summit...) as well as local up-and-coming musicians. 

The exhibition comprised of photos archiving the towns most prolific years in terms of jazz music, and it included never before seen photos of impromptu after-party jam-sessions. As part of the exhibition, there was also a screening of selected concert footage and old interviews with musicians and festival crew and audience.
