LUMAD specialises in supplying advanced high-quality LED lighting products for a wide range of commercial, industrial and residential market sectors. I was asked to create a whole brand identity (from logo, stationery, posters to their product catalogue) to reflect their motto which is ensuring the right customised lighting solution creates the visual, performance, reliability and cost-efficiency impacts clients' desire.
The brand name was first created from the words - Lumination Madness, then shortened into 'lumad'. Where there is light, there must be shadow. With this concept, the idea for the logo was to play around with negative space.
