Howl's Moving Castle
This was my entry to the annual Folio Society Book Illustration Competition 2019. This year the competition was for Dianne Wynne Jones' Howl's Moving Castle. I chose 3 specific scenes, Michael the apprentice catching a star, Sophie as an old woman gathering flowers in the beautiful valley and finally, Howl moving Calcifer on his magic spade. The final illustration consists of the inside and outside door handle to the magic castle.
