From her obsessively traced signs on canvas or on paper, Maria evokes indefinite and ancestral images, that stimulate the imagination. The maniacal application of lines, predisposed side by side with repetitive precision, invites ours visual perception to figure out an indefinite suggestions, that seem to emerge from backdrops. In some ways it is a conceptual work that proceed by reflections and movements her gestures meticulously aligned parallel lines. With rational and repetitive processes that end up conferring a poetic dimension to the global vision of her work, the plots of the signs solicit the memory of the viewer.
