I am going to use this clay to make my next sculpture. So it will be the same carved surface but without color. I am influenced by the work of the Native American Pueblo potter's pit fired black ware and curious to see how my images will translate in this clay. It should be arriving today! yeppy!

The forms will be similar to this but perhaps more vessel like. I am still deciding on the exact form. MORE to come.....
This will be Jet Black when finished with a glazed interior surface.
These are some balls I have made with carvings on them. When fired they will be buff, chocolate brown and black.
