Making a manipulated image is by definition an intermediate area between reality and an interpretive reality, between objectifying and subjective, between justice to what you see and suggest what remains invisible. Dusk Areas are fascinating, they make a clear definition and interpretation impossible. For it is the context in which an image is viewed, which determines the meaning that it gives the viewer.
