My main focus for this cd case design was to create the melancholy tone of losing a friend or a lover, to represent the lyrics from the songs. Most of Boy Pablo's music sounds happy but the lyrics can be very tragic! 

I filled the large gaps of space between lyrics with black bars to make it seem like an attempt to obscure something underneath.
