Random Illustrations (2017-2018)
Here's a collection of random illustration work I did between 2017 and 2018. These didn't fit into a specific theme and weren't part of larger projects, so I'm just cramming them all in here.
Anyone living in the PNW over the last two years can probably relate to the frustration many of us in Seattle have felt over the awful wildfire smoke we've experienced in the summer. I worked some of that frustration out on this cigarette pack illustration.
Really pleased with quality of light I managed to capture in this lantern illustration. This was one of those pieces that involved essentially no trial and error. Everything I tried worked out just as I had hoped. I just love when that happens.
This is one of the rare pieces I did back before transitioning over to using the iPad for most of my illustration work. Isometric isn't really my usual bag, but it's fun to play with and involves some fun problem solving to get your geometry looking right.
Thanks for looking!
