A Year of London

At the start of the year, I realized that I didn't have a single picture of London in my portfolio. As a travel photographer, I had ignored what was outside my front door. This realization compelled me to start a project to spend 2013 capturing the sites of London.

This is an ongoing project that will span the length of 2013. This page shares some of the highlights from the project. The full project with details on photographing each of the attractions can be seen here.
A view of Tower Bridge and the Shard - both controversial but iconic pieces of architecture.
The staircase of Two Temple Place - a stunning example of late Victorian architecture.
Battersea Power Station - A London icon first made infamous after appearing on the cover of a Pink Flloyd album.
Union Jack colours over the Palace of Westminster and the Westminster Bridge.
Perhaps the grandest dining hall in England - The Drapers Hall.
A lazer cuts across the Greenwich Navel Colleges and Canary Wharf, tracking the path of the Greenwich Meridian Line.
The Granada Cinema in Tooting - a grade A listed building now used as a Bingo Hall.
The Guildhall, used primarily to host functions for the Lord Mayor.
The King's Chambers in Kensington Palace.
The Chinese Pagoda in Kew Gardens
London City - architecture spanning almost 1000 years.
Pastel skies over Saint Paul's Cathedral as seen from the Oxo Tower.
The Tulip Staircase in the Queen's House, Greenwich.
The staircase in the St. Pancras Hotel.
The Millenium Bridge leading up to Saint Paul's Cathedral.
A windy evening over the Eye and the Palace of Westminster.
'Half Nelson' at Trafalgar Square.
Remnants of London's naval history at Victoria Docks.
A real Winter Wonderland in St. James Park.
