This project is inspired by the material world of a disc jockey. The groovebox is based on the classic functions of radio technology and the construction combines the materials aluminium and plastics. 
The geometry is constructed with radial, vertical and horizontal lines to create a balanced relation between each other. The origin for every radial line is the center of the speaker - ‘‘where the music plays’’. 

This radio has been realized as prototype and contains working radio components.
